Sketch transformation

There is always a special kind of joy in capturing a quiet moment and the elegance of everyday human postures on paper. As a self-taught artist, my heart usually belongs to the simple strokes of a pencil, especially when capturing the delicate details of hair and the natural drape of a saree.

Recently, I decided to experiment and see what happens when one of these traditional sketches steps fully into reality. I’ve put these two pictures together to share the transformation with you—from my original hand-drawn figure to a lifelike, full-color photograph. It’s fascinating to see how the simple shading of a pencil translates into rich, real-world textures and lighting.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this transformation!
