C. Narayana Reddy (1931–2017) was a celebrated Telugu poet, lyricist, and writer whose contributions left an enduring mark on Telugu literature and cinema. He was honoured with India’s prestigious Jnanpith Award in 1988 for his poetry collection Viswambara, which reflects humanistic and universal themes.
