Life isn't perfect but your hair can be.
Life Isn’t Perfect, But Your Hair Can Be
*I drew this sketch of a woman’s braid a few years ago. A braid may look simple, yet it carries a quiet strength and beauty. Each strand, when woven carefully, becomes part of a harmonious whole. To me, it symbolizes how life is formed — many threads of experience, some smooth and some rough, coming together to make something meaningful.------
*The saying “Life isn’t perfect, but your hair can be” makes me smile every time I read it. True, we cannot control everything in life. There will always be challenges, uncertainties, and imperfections. Yet, we can choose to care for the small details that bring us joy. Something as simple as combing and braiding one’s hair can be an act of self-respect, discipline, and even art.----------
*Through this sketch, I wanted to capture the grace of ordinary beauty. A braid may not change the world, but it can change how we feel about ourselves — neat, composed, and confident. Perhaps that is the secret: perfection is not in life itself, but in the care we give to life’s little things.
