Wife's health - English tutorial - illustration
This morning, as usual, I woke up at 5 AM.
I prepared coffee for my wife and me. Normally, my wife wakes up later than I do.
But this morning, she didn't wake up. I didn't want to disturb her sleep, so I let her sleep a little longer.
Then I switched on the TV and watched the news for some time.
At 7 a.m., she was still sleeping. I thought something might be wrong with her. I woke her up gently and asked, "Laxmi, are you not well?" I touched her forehead; she was running a fever. I gave her a pill with a glass of water.
She managed to wake up and had a cup of coffee.
Then I took her to a nearby hospital.
After a checkup, the doctor diagnosed her with viral fever and prescribed some medicines for one week.
Then we came back home.
